Hiring an Interior Designer can be scary. However, at Furniture Specialties, We want you to know upfront what our role is, and how we will take the arrows of renovation out of your back. Our Designers start by planning out your space and taking measurements upfront. We are trained to engineer the entire space. Though construction design is our initial thought, we take into account furniture placement and other softer finishes as we begin our design. We work on creating an atmosphere with color, lighting, and functional rooms

Initial On-Site Design Consultation
After an initial phone call and questionnaire, An Interior Designer will meet with you, one-on-one, to discuss your ultimate vision–whether it be for one space or an entire home! This initial consultation will cover the scope of your project, including design style, budget, costs and design fees for all requested services.
Client Intake and Design Concept
Upon entering into a client/designer service agreement, FS Design begins gathering all of the detailed project information and design concept research. You and FS will collaborate to define your dream interior style using inspiration images, design style concept boards, and guided showroom visits.
Project Design Development
Once the project design concepts are finalized,
We will create your project drawings, space
plans, furniture plans, material and furnishing specifications, custom quotes, budgets, and design presentation boards. All design selections and specifications are chosen to uniquely achieve your dream interior space.
Design Presentation
We will meet with you to reveal a comprehensive and detailed project plan by reviewing drawings, space plans, presentation boards, material samples, and itemized budgets. Every effort will be taken to help you visualize the goal for your uniquely customized project.
Purchasing and Execution
Upon 100% approval of the presented design components, the team will purchase all merchandise and manage all project details. This includes procurement, expediting, scheduling, receiving and coordination of all item elements.
Project Installation and Evaluation
The project all comes together on installation day -furnishings are delivered and seamlessly installed by trusted professionals, with the constant supervision and direction of designer. All accessories and details are placed with care, so that the homeowner returns to a stunning and personalized new dream space.
