We are pleased to announce that Furniture Specialties (FS) has just acquired Barefoot Custom Furniture and Upholstery, a Shelby, NC based furniture manufacturer. This is a very exciting event for both companies, their employees, and their clients. Our greatest asset has always been our people, the ones we work for and alongside. Joining forces means the quality of that asset will be further enhanced.
Barefoot Custom Furniture has a sterling reputation as an upholstered furniture manufacturer for many large companies, such as Wayfair, Perigold, One Kings Lane and other national retailers.
Furniture Specialties maintains strong relationships with both the hospitality and healthcare industries, providing a robust designer-built program that offers custom furniture and repair/reupholstery services. FS’s existing pipeline will be a great opportunity to capture the immediate growth from bringing on board Bareroot’s talented craftsmen. This acquisition further demonstrates Furniture Specialties commitment to manufacturing custom upholstered furniture and exceeding our clients’ expectations with unparalleled craftsmanship.
